| Please Take Note: The Photo Archive may not display properly with really old versions of some Internet browsers. A Word About Our System: We're currently using an openSUSE Linux computer on our home network to store the photo archive. Running the photo server from our home allows us to store more photos than the go2norm.com web server can hold, unless I wanted to pay for more space, which I don't. Because the photos reside on part of our home network, there may occasionally be downtime or slow downloads due to maintenance or other activities on our computers. Possible causes of slow performance are file sharing, webcam or various other bandwidth hogs running on our home network. There's also the possibility that your computer might have issues that cause sluggish performance. In general, however, things work great. Nevertheless, we appreciate your patience if you ever experience slow performance. Also, the photo server is usually off-line (not available) between midnight and 8:00 AM (Central Time) in order to conserve power. As this site evolves, the photo directories sometimes get moved. If and when this happens, any links you have to individual albums won't work anymore. If you have old bookmarks, they probably don't work anymore. If so, delete them! A Note About Scripts: On some computers you may receive an alert stating that these pages contain scripts that may be harmful to your computer. You may rest assured that all JavaScripts on this site are completely safe. Furthermore, scripts must be allowed for the photo archive to work properly. |
